Were does the time go ....

I can't even begin to tell you what I've been up to not having fun let me tell you that. I have been running around like a chicken with it's head off LOL , seriously my kids just went on Summer vacation Great right :(  no they need something to do at all times of the day. I hear all day now Mom were bored, mom can we go somewhere today, mom  I'm hungry , mom I'm thirsty ( their 7 and 5 ) so no rest for the weary hope everyone is doing great and thanks for letting me vent. Now maybe I can crochet or do something with my dolls (^_^)

Long day

Thank goodness this week is over I soooo look forward to the weekends. Sleeping in and letting the dishes go LOL for some reason every time I try to let those dishes sit it drives me nuts! so I end up doing them anyways :( but back to the weekend right. I got a new doll I won the Darla moonlight kisses something ahaha I just know I like the doll, I actually have fallen head over hills for some of the Poppy Parker dolls I wish I could get the one whose Tanned and has blonde hair I really like her. I have been working on a dio home for my doll It's coming along not the greatest but I'm surrounded by great bloggers so I'm sure I'll get on ya ll level soon :)

Vintage Barbie's

Thursday boy this week just went by so slow for me . I've been struggling with trying to get over my sinus problems, I think it winning the fight LOL. But on to better thing my younger sister had found herself collecting dolls at one point and quit. I brought up the dolls in conversation to her about her dolls and where they were and she said at our mom's house:( why the sad face , because my mom is like this if you leave something at her house she is not responsible for it nor if she has it will return it. My mom collects porcelain dolls, Every time I go to her house it make me think of this movie called Dolls ... well all the dolls in that movie killed people I watched it when I was like 6 but it really stuck with me with those porcelain dolls LOL well back to the Barbie's with a little bribery and small talk I convinced her to give me the dolls their boxes are way damaged but the Barbie's are in great condition

Her face reminds me of and older Barbie like a young grandmother

Me and my camera illiterate self had the flash on that's why there's a glare on the boxes LOL but i really think she cute and her business skirt turns into party skirt to go out after work :)

Their cute I seen them on amazon for like 9.99 so not really a big deal but I love there outfits and her little bread basket .

I really liked her she has movables appendages but she has on permanent ballet slipper a new body and she will look great debating on the opening part (her box is really torn up) maybe???

My girls really want to open all of them but I promised my sister I'd hang on to them a while.

From Az to Morristown

So finally I'm ready for the wedding I'm possibly the biggest procrastinator in my family:)  I finally got around to finding who was going and what they were wearing. With a few finger pricks I sewed this Dress together for the big day. I am so happy for Danielle and Rod they have found what so many are searching for  LOVE:) Congrats to them and much love to their fam!

So I decided to take a picture of MaDori by my pool in AZ you know everyone needs a pool if you stay here. Seriously it gets to 113* out here :(

MaDori  wanted to take a dip before we headed out to the airport, I told her there was no time for that we had used up all our time and needed to leave she pouted and got in the car

Barbie's Rage

I was just randomly searching for Barbie stuff as usual and I came across this pic from the Blog called "Julia's Playground", It was not about Barbie's per say but It had this hilarious photo about Ken not putting the toilet seat down! Hope she doesn't mind I  borrowed the pic for all my Barbie girls out there!

I bet he will remember to put that seat down next time .... Ohh  there wont be one :(  ahaha

New Do for Mulan

So as I was saying In my last post is I had went to the goodwill and picked up two dolls well I finally did one ! Here is use to be Mulan , I have not named her with a new name just haven't thought of a good one. Her hair reroot was very trying yet fun to see her transform. I used some human hair I had left over from some hair I had used before. It was very trying I do admit I kept boiling water and thinking to treat it like doll hair. I eventully just curled with a barreled curling iron and took it from there. here's one of her pic after the install....

And here's her after styling and a little acrylic paint. I love practicing on the cheap dolls it's really fun and very time consuming LOL.

Goodwill Shopping

So today I decided I would run into Goodwill just to see what they had and I found two barbies that weren't in to bad of shape brought them home and washed them up. I also noticed at the Goodwill all the dolls had no clothes on for some reason they stripped them of all their clothing and sold them naked which I really didn't get cause their were no clothes for sale LOL sooo. anyways I have these two dolls and don't have a clue what to do with them I would definitely love If you guys gave me some ideas I would greatly appreciate it thx :)

Tried my hand at it

Sooo let me say just because ur Artistic and all does not mean go out and try'n conquer everything ahah
I tried to repaint an  old ken doll with inspiration from ChynaDoll Creations Her web pages let me say are the best thing going on, seriously:) But here is ken with all his flaws OK my flaws I gave him:(

Okay so first I started with his eyebrows and his left eye right.......

And so like I said it isn't for the faint of heart but I really had fun doing this :) until later have a good one and stay blessed.

Hola and Good evening

It's Sunday It really felt like the weekend was never here:)  Spring Cleaning tomorrow not excited about that at all. I did some more crafts from a web page called my Froggy Princess that woman rocks seriously I could look at her Blog all day LOL but seriously I did manage to crochet some Spring fun I don't remember the creators web page but , I will find it and post it her bunny pattern was easy to make and came out sooo cute until tomorrow Much Love !

Back after a long break

Been gone a while but, while I was out I made new dicoveries of things I like to do like Drawing lol , crafting, and as always still crocheting. Just updating with a few things I've done since I've been out. :)
